Raise Your Glass to the 12th Viñada at Don Tomás

Wine, Music & Stars Ready to Shine at Don Tomás

When the sun dips behind the Valle de Guadalupe hills, magic tends to happen — especially when there’s wine involved. On November 15, 2025, Don Tomás Viñedo will once again turn into Baja’s most charming mix of vineyard, dance floor, and open-air restaurant for the 12th Viñada: “Wine, Music & Stars.”

A Day of Flavor, Fun, and Family

Starting at noon, the festival promises what every good Baja weekend should — too much sun, plenty of laughter, and just enough wine to make your shoes feel optional.

The Association of Entrepreneurs of Valle de Guadalupe is behind this annual bash that celebrates everything local: wine, food, music, and the art of pretending calories don’t exist when the view’s this good.

Wine, Music & Stars Light Up Don Tomás Vineyard

Guests will be greeted with a welcome glass and tastings from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. — a ritual that sets the tone for the day. Imagine swirling a deep ruby blend from Viñedo La Toscana or Vinos Contemplación, while the scent of roasted lamb and sushi rolls (yes, both) drifts through the air.

The flavors collide beautifully — soft tannins meeting crunchy tempura, buttery fish echoing the ripe plum notes of a Syrah. If that doesn’t make sense, it will after your second glass.

The Taste of the Valley

More than a dozen producers will pour their best bottles, including Ojo Azul, Maglén, Casa Luna, and Viñas de Toranzo. The air will carry a mix of oak, smoke, and grilled meat — that sacred blend only found in Baja events where “pairing” means whatever’s still on your plate.

Local chefs and food artisans are stepping up too. Expect everything from Paella Santa Fe to Tacos Don Leo, Alta Parrilla, and La Bufadora’s churros — that perfect post-tasting snack no sommelier will ever admit goes with Cabernet, but we all know it does.

For the brave (or tipsy), there’s a mechanical bull, children’s area, and the ever-classic grape stomping. Nothing says “Valle culture” quite like crushing fruit with your bare feet while DJ beats mix with the sound of laughter.

Where Wine Meets the Stars

As the sun fades, the vineyard glows under strings of light, and the real show begins. Grupo Melody from Tijuana will bring the rhythm, while a guest DJ spins into the night. The event caps at about 300 guests, keeping the vibe intimate — like a backyard party, if your backyard came with a sommelier and a view of infinity.

“Viñadas have become a platform to strengthen local identity and promote responsible tourism,” says Marco Estudillo Bernal, president of the association. In plain terms: come, have fun, and leave your hangover dollars in the valley — everyone wins.

A Toast to Community

Beyond the food and fun, Viñada supports local producers and highlights how the Valle continues to balance tradition and creativity. From the humble cart serving teriyaki tacos to the winemaker pouring his first vintage, it’s all woven into that Baja spirit — bold, welcoming, a little unpredictable, and never boring.

So bring your hat, your appetite, and maybe a jacket for the evening chill. The 12th Viñada isn’t just another festival — it’s a reminder that in Baja, wine is best enjoyed under the stars, preferably with a churro in hand.

Tickets are available at go.dontomasvinedo.com, and if you need help deciding what to drink, don’t worry — someone next to you definitely will.
