Two Baroque Operas

Two Baroque Operas brings together two contrasting scenic approaches in a single program. La Serva Padrona by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi is presented as a playful and humorous opera buffa, while Dido Revisited, inspired by Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell, offers a tragic and poetic interpretation.
Presented by Teatro Estudio de Baja California, this musical-theatrical production showcases performances developed through the Scenic Creation Workshop and the Musical-Theatre Arts Laboratory, featuring young artists and master creators from the Faculty of Arts at UABC.
